Vilma Bharatan is a researcher and a homeopath. She has a B.Sc. in Chemistry, a L.C.H. from the College of Homeopathy (1987-1991) and a Ph.D. from The University of Reading, (Homeopathy and Systematics – analysing the medicinal plants used in Homeopathy using Cladistics). For her Ph.D she was based at The Natural History Museum in London, and gave a number of talks on food plants for Nature Live held in the museum’s Attenborough Studios. Her fascination with edibles plants is reflected in her beautiful and intriguing photographs. She was also the research co-ordinator for 5 GP surgeries in Haringey from 2003 to 2016.
